B. Pupils listen to the recording and then answer the questions:

A. Hang the poster . I point to pic 1. ask them ; what can you see here?
A reporter is interviewing people at supermarket. I teach shoppers . then I point to pic2. ask ; what can you see here? There are a lot of cars . I teach car parks. Then I point to pic3. what can you see here? This is a page from newspaper.
It shows how much meat costs . I teach them the words remain. I discuss pic4 . it shows some shopper and shelves full of food in the supermarket.
B. I play recoding 5 . Reasons for shopping . convenient – special offer – international- one- stop shopping.
C. I give polite questions
a. would you mind answering my question? No , not at all.
b. You come from this area, don’t you? Yes , of course.
c. Can you tell why you come here? Because it is an international place.
D. pupils open their books on page 77.

A. I write the first letter of each new word at the board. These will be completed during the lesson.
B. Ask the pupils to open their books on page 78. they have a quick glance at the passage . then they look the pictures and try to join between the pictures and the paragraphs. Then they read each paragraph silently.
C. Ask them to move the questions and find out the answers:

A. On the bard I write the new words . then ask the pupils to open their books on page 80 . they look at the words and say In which order are they written? Then they read the first word.
Why is beef/ veal written at the top? What does it mean?
B. then they begin to read each word and the explanation of the word. They also study the picture and answer the questions.
C. They repeat the above step with the other words. Until they finish the words.
D. Finally, the y move to the word study exercise. They read the words on the right hand and study the pictures. They give meaning of the words The fill the blanks with the suitable and correct word. Then they write the answers in their copy books.

A. Ask the pupils to open their books on page 82 and read the instructions. Then another read the first question.

D. The pupils reads the details. Then they make similar sentences and answer them. Exercise on page 83.
Unit 5 lesson 5

A. 1. Where is Nejed supermarket? It is in Riyadh.
2. How big is it? 1600 metres square,
B. I complete asking the questions and pupils give answers. These answers from the body of composition.
C. Then they write the title and join the sentences to write the paragraph.
The Nejed Supermarket is owned by 100% by Saudis. It is in Riyadh. It has an area 1600 square metres and parking space for cars. These are about 6000 different items on its shelves. It is open 24 hours a day and it only shuts of prayer times. The supermarket bakes it owns bread.
D. Then the do the same with the other supermarket and copy it in their books.

B. I introduce tag questions by giving examples on positive and negative tags.

Then they read the explanations and make sentences from the given tables.
C. Finally they move to box3. they read the polite questions

A. Ask the pupils to open their books on page 89. I read the instruction in A. then pupils read it aloud and have look at the questions. Then they read the context in A and give answer for the MCQs.
